This Yellow, Elliptical / Oval Pill has been identified as Acetaminophen and hydrocodone bitartrate 325 mg / 10 mg and is manufactured by Watson Pharmaceuticals. It belongs to the drug class narcotic analgesic combinations that are used to treat moderate-to-severe pain when other less potent analgesics are not effective. Most of these narcotic analgesics are effective at relieving pain; however, they have a tendency to cause addiction, dependence, and tolerance.

It is a symptom which may either be acute or chronic in nature. Acute pain often has a clear source. Keep the medicine in a secure place and it should only be used by the person to whom it was prescribed for. Hydrocodone may be habit-forming.
Avoid driving or any activities that require alertness or concentration. Side effects may impair thinking and your reactions.
Tell the doctor if you are pregnant or if you plan to get pregnant during treatment as this may be harmful to an unborn baby.
Avoid use of acetaminophen and hydrocodone while breastfeeding. The medication may cause harm to the nursing baby.
Take only as prescribed and follow prescription labels. Do not discontinue its use without doctors’ advice.
Acetaminophen and hydrocodone may cause constipation. Increase fiber in diet and drink 6 to 8 glasses daily.
Store acetaminophen and hydrocodone at room temperature away from moisture and heat.
Minor Side Effects
- feeling anxious, dizzy, or drowsy;
- mild nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, constipation;
- headache, mood changes;
- blurred vision;
- ringing in your ears; or
- dry mouth.
Major Side Effects
- shallow breathing, slow heartbeat;
- feeling light-headed, fainting;
- confusion, fear, unusual thoughts or behavior;
- seizure (convulsions);
- problems with urination; or
- nausea, stomach pain, loss of appetite, itching, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes)
- difficulty breathing;
- swelling of your face,
- lips, tongue, or throat
As your body adjusts to treatment, side effects may go away. Your doctor will provide you ways to prevent or reduce the symptoms. Some (minor) side effects may not need medical attention, however, if the symptoms continue and is bothersome, consult your doctor. Immediately seek emergency help in case of serious side effects or allergic reactions.
